LEMME TELL YA A LITTLE SOMETHIN' ABOUT MYSELF.
Hi Everyone! My name is Eric Allen and I'm a singer/songwriter/musician, as well as an audio engineer. I've been playing guitar and singing since I was about 8 years old, and started writing songs when I was about 16. My musical interests include a lot of classic rock music, as well as a variety of modern bands/artists. I cover a good number of these artists, including Talking Heads, Elton John, Walk The Moon, CCR, City and Colour, and Panic! At the Disco. When it comes to my own music, I take great care in making the songs sound as best as I can, and put a lot of thought into the lyrics. Though I don't have that many original songs, I am proud of the ones that I do have. A complete list of the songs I play can be found HERE.
My interest in audio engineering started my junior year of high school when my school district opened a new campus called Innovative Learning Center. One of the classes they offered included learning the basics of recording and editing music. I recorded and mixed a couple covers during that time, both of which can be found on my SoundCloud. I went on to study Music Production at Ohio University from 2015-2019, and have since been bettering my skills as an audio engineer. My DAW of choice is Logic Pro X.
